Troubleshooting

Method Not Allowed (405) in HMOL

This error displays in HeadMaster online.

When trying to import an email address that the parent changed in HeadMaster Online, the following message displays:

Method Not Allowed (405) - http://secure.headmasteronline.com/hmolweb/changerequest

  • Products Affected: HeadMaster Online

  • Versions Affected: 11.5.1.9

Cause is unknown. The following steps have worked with clients experiencing this issue.

  1. Backup up HeadMaster.
  2. Repair Tables.
  3. Copy https://secure. into the School.acsdat table.
  4. For headmasteronline.com/changerequestservice/changerequestservice.asmx columns, ChangeRequestURL, verify the 'asmx' extention is showing for the web address.
    Client should be able to import the change manage request without error.
