DBISam Engine Error #8961 - Header Information Corrupt in Userlog

When trying to log into HeadMaster, this error displays:

"HeadMaster has encountered problems, engine error in module HMClient.exe @ address 001F4FE6." and "DBISam engine error 8961 header information corrupt in userlog."

  • Products Affected: HeadMaster

  • Versions Affected: Multiple Versions

  1. Navigate to the data directory C:/Hmaster/Data, (C represents your drive) and locate the System file.
  2. Open the system file, then delete userlog.acsdat and userlog.idx.
    You should be able to log in.
