Corrective Action
ACS Technologies operates under the at-will doctrine, which essentially states the employee or the company can end the employment relationship at any time for any reason. Typically, ACS Technologies will handle discipline through a series of progressive disciplinary warnings for poor performance and/or behavior. Progressive corrective action is taken when it is felt that the employee can correct the performance or behavior issue. Such a decision, however, is at the sole discretion of ACS Technologies.
If the employee’s conduct at issue is considered serious, disciplinary action may result in termination for a first offense.
If violated, any of the following examples could lead to immediate dismissal without warning:

The open possession, use, or sale of mood altering substances (nonprescription or alcohol) at the workplace, or coming to work under the influence of such substances.
2.
Possession of any dangerous, legal or illegal fire arms, weapons or explosives on company property. 3.
Engaging in any act of sabotage, willfully or with gross negligence causing damage to or destruction of company property or the property of fellow employees, customers, vendors, contractors, or visitors. 4.
Harm to the company’s reputation is considered unacceptable (ex. posting negative, derogatory, or harmful comments to, or about the company on social media).
5.
Engaging in criminal conduct or committing acts of violence, or making threats of violence, toward anyone while on company property or while representing the company in any location.

Fighting, provoking a fight, or horseplay.

Threatening, intimidating, or coercing fellow employees or management personnel on or off company property.

Insubordination or refusing to obey instructions issued by any member of management and pertaining to company work.

Improper disclosure of protected or confidential company, client or vendor information. 10.
Improper use, removal, or theft of property belonging to the company or fellow employees. 11.
Dishonesty, misrepresenting information, falsifying or altering company related records or other documentation.
