Additional Vacation Guidelines
Vacation accrual begins on your hire date, and you are eligible to use vacation after you have completed your initial 90 days of service.
Once you reach your maximum accrued time, accruals stop until you use some vacation hours. Non-exempt employees can schedule vacation time in 30-minute increments. Scheduled vacation time must be approved in advance by your supervisor.
Exempt employees may schedule vacation in full-day or half-day increments, with prior supervisor approval. Should you voluntarily leave your employment with ACS Technologies, any accrued, but unused vacation time will be paid to you in your last paycheck as long as you give and work a proper minimum two week notice of resignation.
Paid Time Off
The company provides paid time off (PTO) should you need to be away from work due to personal or family reasons.
PTO can be taken as unplanned time away from work for issues such as sudden illness for your self or family members. At no point during the year should unplanned days away become excessive. PTO may also be used for planned events such as doctor's appointments and other personal business. For planned time off, employees should notify supervision in advance so that work coverage arrangements can be made.
PTO accrual begins on your hire date, and you are eligible to use accrued time after you have completed your initial 90 days of service.
If you are a regular full-time or a regular part-time employee you will be eligible to accrue up to 48 hours (prorated for part-time) per calendar year. Your PTO will accrue each pay period.
You may accrue up to a maximum of one hundred sixty (160) hours in your PTO bank. At that point, further accruals would cease until you use some of your PTO.
Accrued and unused PTO is not paid out upon separation from the company.
