AI Use Policy
This AI Use Policy outlines the ethical and legal responsibilities of ACST staff when using artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing the importance of transparency, fairness, and accountability.
At ACS Technologies Group, Inc. (“ACST”) while we recognize the growing importance of artificial intelligence (“AI”) and how it may enhance our products and services, it is not infallible. AI can produce content that is inaccurate, biased, or contextually inappropriate. Our commitment to leveraging AI is rooted in our mission to support our ministry partners and help them serve their communities more effectively. This AI policy reflects our commitment to ethical principles, transparency, and the responsible use of third-party AI technologies.
Legal and Ethical Principles
- To protect sensitive information in our care in accordance with relevant laws and regulations as they develop.
We strive to ensure that the AI technologies we use exhibit fairness and equity, avoiding bias and discrimination against any individual or group based on race, gender, religion, or any other identifiable characteristic.
We hold ourselves accountable for the ethical use of AI technologies, recognizing our responsibility to address any unintended consequences or harm that may result from its use, bias, including inaccurate findings and "hallucinations".
We commit to transparency in the use of AI systems, ensuring that our customers and stakeholders understand how AI is being used and its potential impact.
Be advised that any and all AI generated content that you publish may be in violation of copyright and/or intellectual property laws. This policy will be updated as legal rulings develop.
Your Responsibilities with AI
- You are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of data collected and used by AI systems.
You must use critical judgment and discernment when verifying content generated by AI.
When AI generates the majority (50% or more) of your published content, you must disclose its use by adding "This content was created with the help of AI technology" to all public-facing materials (e.g., emails, websites, social media posts). However, if you only use AI for minor editing or refining your own original content, no disclosure is necessary.
