Troubleshooting

Promotions Do Not Display

When HeadMaster is interfaced with ACS A/R, the new data set doesn't display in A/R after doing promotions in HeadMaster.

  • Products Affected: HeadMaster (interfaced with ACS A/R)

  • Versions Affected: 11.5.1.8

  1. Open the HMaster folder.
  2. Double-click HMEdit.exe.
    The Enter Password dialog box displays.
  3. Enter the password: WINACSWINACS.
    The HeadMaster Table Editor displays.
  4. Select your current data set (for example, 2015-16) and select the table dbiD.ACSDAT. You'll need to get the DatabaseID number for this data set.
  5. In the Database drop-down list, select System.
  6. In the Tables list, double-click dbIDs.ACSDAT.
  7. Click in the PromotedTo box for the data set (for example, 2015-16), and delete the number that's in the box. Make sure you click in the box and that the cursor is blinking. Then, delete only that number and not the row.
  8. Close out of the tables. When you open ACS A/R, the data set will be there for them to select.
