Safety and Health
Employees are a top priority in the company and thus all work-related illnesses or injuries (no matter how slight) should be reported to your manager or Human Resources so that immediate and appropriate care can be arranged. Care needs to be arranged through the company so that appropriate care and approvals are authorized in a timely manner. Additionally, the company needs to be aware of incidents so that we can remediate any potentially unsafe conditions that may exist. Under state and Federal law, the company must keep records of all company injuries and illnesses and thus employees are required to report all accidents.
The company provides first aid kits on each floor typically located in the break-room cabinets and are designated with a red & white sticker. Ice packs may be available in break-room refrigerators.
A list of CPR trained employees is listed on the HR home page. Additionally the company has on-site AEDs.
Should there be a very serious injury, any employee on the scene early should call or direct another employee to call 911 for professional medical assistance.
