DBISAM Engine Error 11949 -Student List

While trying to get information from the Student List, the following error message displays:

#1949 SQL parsing error-Expected column name but instead found Ustudent Type in SELECT SQL statement at line 13, column 3 . Cannot perform on closed data set.

  • Products Affected: HeadMaster Pro OnDemand

  • Versions Affected: 11.5.1.9

  1. Connect with client through LMI.
  2. View students to retrieve the error.
  3. In the saved views confirm with the client if it's okay to delete the saved view with attached to the client's name.
  4. Delete the view.
  5. Set up and save the view again.
  6. When entering the dataset, load the view again.
  7. After deleted, in Options > Custom check the custom fields listed. There was not one with the client's name.
Remember: Client Example: Logged into HMEdit. In the userdef.acsdat table in the dataset client was working in and there was not a field listed with this name. Checked with team lead and then explained to client that I was going to bring in our product lead for HM to take a look and she stated that was fine. Invited team lead in and then found there was another saved view and we deleted that one. Once this was deleted, went into students and was able to bring the students up without error. Went into the tables to school.acsdat and to the column for the ChangeRequestURL and found that client was missing some of the link. Deleted the link that was in the table and then copied my link (https://secure. ) and pasted it into the column in her headmasteronline.com/changerequestservice/changerequestservice.asmx data. Then went back to HM and went to file and HMOnline and manage change request and it went through without error. Then stayed on the phone with her and had her go back to students and create a new saved view. Once done, closed out of Students and went back in and she was able to without error.
